In the beginning of 1985, for reasons of overcapacity in the rake factory of Vicon in Spain, it was necesary to reduce personnel. An agreement was made with employees of the Vicon factory to form their own company.
The result was that in august 1985 the company "Mesolpa" was founded. When the big economic cruch came in 91-92 the production activities in the Vicon Spain rake factory came to a halt.
 

It was in July 1994 when Mesolpa bought the special machinery, tooling drawings and specifications to keep on making the traditional ground driven fingerwheel rakes, to the same specifications as before.

We are prou to continue this traditional product and are convinced that the Mesolpa implement will contribute usefully to the mechanisation of farms in many parts of the world.
